We’re A Consortium

When international travel paused during the Pandemic, a few Chicago-area Asia-Pacific consultants got creative and formed a consortium and named it Pacific Tango Group.

We believe there's more power and creativity in collaborating, so together we formed a new company to promote North American and APAC businesses by taking advantage of the natural synergies between member's areas of expertise to meet client objectives.

Today, with over 10 members representing a wide array of services, markets, and industries, Pacific Tango Group is doing just that.

Working together, we provide clients with creative alternatives far beyond what any of us could have done independently.

Why “Tango”?

Pacific Tango Group’s name comes from the English saying “It takes two to tango” because as in dance, when you want to master new steps quickly and thoroughly, its best to have a strong leader show you how.

Dancing and business are complex. In both, it’s essential to know the basic steps and how to apply them at the right moment. Dancing is made more difficult when new and unfamiliar musical rhythms and steps are introduced. Business becomes more difficult when dealing with new markets, new cultures, languages, legal systems, and more.

Pacific Tango Group expertly leads its business partners through complex markets because not only do we know the steps, we know the music and rhythms too.
